Cal,

Here's my $0.02:

There are a lot of contesters (also known as "lids") who, when looking for a
run frequency, will pounce on someone who they think might not be loud in
the target zone, and who will attempt to steal that frequency by cqing
"over" that station on a VERY nearby frequency. I think you will find that
K0DXC/1 experiences this phenomenon MUCH more often than K1LZ will, simply
because the average contester knows that K1LZ is LOUD in EU (or whereever)
and that trying to "steal" that run frequency has a limited probability of
success. Not so with K0DXC/1, who might be running an Icom 706 to an indoor
dipole.

I think you'll have less hassle -- and a better score with K1LZ.

73,
Tom, K8AZ
