[NCC] vertical antennas

Guys

I am entertaining thoughts for this summer of installing a vertical in my
back yard for 40/80 meters.      I have always had dipoles off the tower,
but they came down last summer when new tower went up.   I am not much into
climbing anymore and would prefer something that if it needs work, then I
can get to it.    Not having anything for 40 and 80 meters is not helping me
any during contest season and I do miss being on those bands.    I realize
that there are tons of pros and cons for verticals and they are not as good
as a beam, but were pretty much tapped out from last summers new beam and
tower construction, to say nothing of all the tree work we had to do.
XYL still hasn't forgiven me yet for the tree thinning.....hi
hi....   thought she'd be over it by now?

I'd really appreciate your thoughts or ideas....
