Reno WT8C and I perticipated in the Lake County Am Rad Assn Field
Day and had a great time. He was Captain of the 40 SSB station and
I was same for 40 CW. I think his Q total was in the high 800's and we
did 1025 after dupes. We even had KQ8M show up and show us how to
run Q's on 40 CW!! Hope you have N8BC in your logs!

The new site at the Lake County Historical Society has worked out
very nicely. The proprietors are very accommodating and allow us to
use the entire grounds and leave the main building open all night for
access to real bathrooms. They have grills and refrigerators available
which are used for our traditional Saturday evening steak roast and
Sunday breakfast and lunch. They seem actually glad to have us
there versus the former location on Little Mountain. On the video you
can see a number of the operators at our 5 station loctions, some of
whom seldom get the chance to use the Low Bands. At the end of the
video you'll see K8BL explaining to the reporter how CW will always
get through no matter what the conditions versus other modes.

LCARA Field Day 2011
Here is the link to the story. There is a video attached to the story, but FireFox would not "play it". Needed Explorer to view it. (Just an FYI).
