Club: North Coast Contesters

Comments:This was a blast! As 'BL stated it was fun to run and chase the 
1bys. I packed it in about 3 am as the approaching storms made 80 nasty even 
with listening antennas. 20 seemed to be open at all times to somewhere. 
Even worked K8NZ from the 'Condo in Columbus' off the side of the 40 meter 
beam-Ron you beat out some EU! (of course the call recognition helped!) Had 
a nice rag chew with K8AZ on 75 phone after making a few SSB contacts.

The WRTC guys really nailed the operating. I could almost tell if a station 
was one of them with their speed and crisp operating style, only heard a few 
REAL speed maniacs. I worked all but 2 on 20 and picked up those on 40 plus 
a bunch more.

Only downside was 10 and 15 were a struggle. Lots of MRRC and NCC guys on!
