[NCC] NCC email list

There was a comment made that messages are not
sent back to the originator. That would make no
sense. One is either a member of a reflector or they
are not. I know of no other reflector that does that.
How would an originator know if their message was
sent to the entire membership???

Tom,

I don't think it's supposed to work like that.  For example, the message
I sent a couple of hours ago showed up in my mailbox almost instantly.

Our email list is hosted by contesting.com, the same folks who host
CQ-Contest, 3830, MRRC's reflector, tower talk, and a bunch of other
clubs and organizations.  I wonder if one cause of the delays/losses
some experience might be simply traffic jams on the contesting.com
servers right after a contest.  Just my uneducated speculation.

One thing is certain: if you try to post from a different address than
the one registered in the list, your posts will not be sent to the group
unless an administrator tells the program to accept posts from that
address.  This alone probably is responsible for half or more of the
problems people experience.
