[NCC] NCC email list

1. I have more often noted delays with forwarded messages, in particular 3830 score reports, than in simple emails or replies to emails.
2. Is there a (default?) setting in either the list administration or an individual's email program that does not show incoming emails sent out by that person?
3. I note the same delays on the MRRC reflector. Concerning score postings (which may have additions or deletions from the original 3830 email I received), although I post a message to both reflectors, I never get more than one in return. It seems random whether the one I get is from NCC or MRRC.

Tom,
I don't think it's supposed to work like that. For example, the message
I sent a couple of hours ago showed up in my mailbox almost instantly.
Our email list is hosted by contesting.com, the same folks who host
CQ-Contest, 3830, MRRC's reflector, tower talk, and a bunch of other
clubs and organizations. I wonder if one cause of the delays/losses
some experience might be simply traffic jams on the contesting.com
servers right after a contest. Just my uneducated speculation.
One thing is certain: if you try to post from a different address than
the one registered in the list, your posts will not be sent to the group
unless an administrator tells the program to accept posts from that
address. This alone probably is responsible for half or more of the
problems people experience.
