[Nodxa] CQWW CW Post Contest Luncheon UPDATE

*Good Morning Ladies and Gentleman:I'm still in the midst of cleaning up
debris from last week's ice storm.    It looks like I will be able to do a
single band 40 meter effort in this weekend's CQWW CW Contest.     I'm
going to try and fix the last broken beverage today.*

*Here is the latest roster of attendees, maybes, and possibles.   Please
let me know if I've missed YOU ...  By the way, I'm sure we can accommodate
a few LAST MINUTE attendees..    In fact, they are welcome.*

*I'm sending this from my GMAIL account, which I do not monitor often
enough.    AOL is more messed up than ever, changing email addresses to
UNUSABLE, and then putting a limit on how many addresses I can have.  They
will become history with me, eventually.  But for now that's what's on my

Greetings Again.

My antennas are still frozen.    Weather forecasters said I will see 36
degrees in the 3 PM and 4 PM hours, but they must be using a different
instrument than I use!

hand and ready to serve you at the luncheon, if needed!   Not really
serving you (the restaurant has people to do that), but he will check your

How about the rest of you?   I know that the lack of YAK BUTTER is a factor
for some of you, but there are other alternatives  ...   Turnip Jelly has a
similar taste, I am told...

Good Wintry Morning Ladies and Gentlemen:

I don't know what you woke up to, but I have a mess out here.   Already
yesterday I was hit pretty hard with freezy rain.    My wire antennas are
sagging badly, and the beams are definitely strained.   So far the only
things not working at all are the DX Engineering 2 beverage system, which
is easily fixed, and my north beverage, also no big deal.    The SWR is
quite a bit higher on 20 on my PRO67B, but it is still live.  The six meter
beams seem to have more ice on them than any others, but nothing appears
broken.  Welcome to "January in November"!

The following distinguished individuals have indicated they plan to attend
the Wednesday November 28 luncheon at the Dutch Kitchen.

Internet service, and sometimes lose messages.   When I do a speed test at
times when service is optimum, I am duly informed that 92% of the world has
faster service than I do!    We're LUCKY to have 1.5Mb  ... that doesn't
happen often.

Anyone have a current email address for NF8R?
