WATCH THE MARS LANDING TODAY: Get ready for another 7 minutes of terror.
Today, a NASA robot
named "InSight" will attempt to land on Mars--a process that involves
screaming through the red
planet's atmosphere in a fireball, shedding more than 12,000 mph of
velocity. For the first
time, two interplanetary cubesats ("WALL-E" and "Eva") will help NASA
broadcast the landing.
Tune into NASA TV starting at 2 p.m. EST for full coverage.
