I just released Version 1.12 of my Orion Control Program. All registered
users should now have it. See www.n4py.com.
Highlites of version 1.12
1)
Added an "ssbrtty.dat" file to control the RTTY and SSB frequencies
for automode selection during direct frequency entry.
2)
Added right clicking on the "M ant" and "S ant" to cycle them in
the opposite direction.
3)
Added two options to the "Preferences3" window to define whether or
not you have an antenna connected to the Orion antenna 2 or receive
only antenna jack.
4)
Added new pod button to stop and start the frequency scan.
5)
Added a new option for the rx340 to use the rx340 for VFO A in the
ham bands.
6)
Changed the vox delay setting granularity to 0.05 second instead of
0.1 second. This will require a one time setting from the program
to get the old value back.
7)
Added a separate VFO B step size. This step size is setable
through "A/B", "A=B", a VFO B mode change, or right clicking a
step button. The VFO B step size is shown just below the VFO B
filter width.
8)
Improved operation of the high speed tuning factor so that pod tuning
will stay in high speed tuning until rotation of the knob is briefly
stopped. I also added a sensivity value to control how easily the
high speed tuning factor kicks in. See setting these options
in "Preferences4".
9)
Added a frequency roundoff to the clicked sweep frequency and clicked
frequency scale frequency to guarantee it is a multiple of the step size.
10)
Optimized sending redundant commands to the Orion improve performance.
