[Orion] Orion no Tx, no main Rx

I posted earlier about needing to put a toroid on the CW key front panel
jack on my Orion I, but I have not had a radio in this shack which has
not experienced some RFI problem. That includes both ICOM's and
Ten-Tec's. One of my main antennas is just 15' over the shack operating
position, and if I run the amp, I find out really quickly where the weak
spots are. I would hesitate to impugn the Orion for this as other rigs
have been just as susceptible. I had a Kenwood 440S/AT that couldn't
handle its own 100 watt output. On the Orion, I have to be running 800W+
before I see the problems, and then it is only on certain bands, which
leads me to believe it is line lengths that are partial wavelengths on
those bands and providing voltage node peaks at the rig. The Orion, in
my harsh RF environment, appears no more RFI susceptible than any other
rig that has been here. The exception might be the Omni VI+ which seemed
exceptionally RF proof. I wanted to add this before we started getting
into another "Orion is RF susceptible" thread again.
