> Competition in A, C and B categories was really tough this year and fantastic results were shown by many foreign participants. It is also demonstrated by the fact that last year’s winners in A and B category were pushed much lower this year! Last year’s champion Juris, YL7A made about the same score than last year in MIXED category but got only 7th place! Many times SSB winner Jan, OZ1ADL had also some computer problems and finished 6th in SSB.

> What a competition! First 3 stations claimed 228, 225 and 226 QSOs and 32, 33 and 34 multipliers respectively. And the one with least multipliers won due to higher number of CW QSOs! The new champion is Rimas, LY6A! Gediminas, LY9A lost 1 multiplier in log checking (the old YL vs LY problem – ES9A had YL9A in the log on 40 SSB) and got second place while operating barefoot! So he also receives the special trophy for the best LP station just like in 2009! Third place goes to many times winner Arvis, YL7X.

> Now that OZ1ADL was out of the game last year’s 2nd and 3rd stations took gold and silver! Darius, LY3DA dominated with a great score and 1 short of maximum 20 multipliers. Claes, 8S0C had 19 QSOs less but also 19 multipliers and took second place operating with 100 watts! Third place went to Romualdas, LY1SR.

> The category had the most logs as always. 52 foreign stations submitted CW only log. Arvydas, LY2F who has been 2nd twice in the last 3 years finally took the top honors! His log was super clean like always showing 98.8% score confirmation rate and losing only 2 QSOs out of 161. The average confirmation rate over all foreign logs was 86.7%. Amazing job by Arvydas! Algis, LY2NK who was winner in 2009 now finished second after LY2F superscore. Alis, LY2BKT was only 6 QSOs behind from Algis and got third place.

> We had new players on the field taking 1st and 2nd places. Winner is Augustinas, LYR-437 followed by Jozef, SP4-208 and Wolfgang, DL-P01-17291 who was again 3rd like 4 times in the last 5 years.

> We are happy to have 2 DX logs this year. Vladimir, UN6LN takes the Best DX award with 4 QSOs made and previous year’s winner Aleksandr, UA9XBJ gets the best in Asian Russia award even though he managed to log just one QSO with ES9A.
