The Polyphaser Book on Grounds refers to it as Perimeter 
Ground ... I have that as well and as stated in the Polyphaser
ground book an 8 foot ground rod each 16 feet along this 
perimeter ground line.

Polyphaser says to have one single run from the Permieter 
Ground to the tower ground system... and NOT to have any
ground rods on that run
