Good advice. I owned Miele appliances in Chicago. XYL and I both 
loved them, but we had to sell them with the house. Bosch products 
are less expensive and generally well rated by Consumer Reports. 
Both are made in Germany. 

No guarantee though -- they may make a different model for North 
America. :)
