[RFI] Fluorescent Light RFI

: The XYL says I've been procrastinating long enough about installing a
: 48" fluorescent light in the garage. First thing that came to mind is
: RFI. Are there any brands that are known to cause interference? Local
: stores carry Metalux, Utilitech and Portfolio.


>From what I recall of flourescent lights two decades ago, it wasn't the 
brand or the power supply, which might be switching mode now, but the 48" 
long arc and plasma that generates the RFI.
