[RFI] Under-counter lighting that is quiet?

I agree about the Kichler fixtures being "quiet". We have a number of them
and I have never noticed any noise. We also have quite a few Lutron dimmer
switches (from Lowe's and/or Home Depot) and they are "quiet".
One thing to look for in the under-counter fixtures, aside from noise, is
how they are put together. Some of the fixtures have a switch that lets you
control brightness (a high-low choice). I have found that over time the
switches in our units get "destroyed" by the heat from the little
high-intensity bulbs. The switches are too close to the bulbs. I fixed
this problem by just cutting the switch out of the circuit and dimming the
lights with a Lutron dimmer that I mounted in place of the regular on/off
wall switch.
