[RFI] ARRL to FCC II

Like most things at ARRL, Dave, it is a combination of things that come together. The Board sets the policies that are behind this, the League President (Kay Craigie), our counsel (Chris Imlay) and a number of staff all had a role in this. The Lab was consulted on some of the things said about radio interference.

Yes, I am thankful, too, but the reason that ARRL has the resources to do this is because 165,000 hams chipped in. My share of the time spent to write that filing and submit it was probably about 50 cents, less than the cup of coffee I casually drank this morning.

Subject: [RFI] ARRL to FCC II

Someone responded to me privately, with a link to the ARRL web site, covering exactly the subject of visibility of enforcement.

I have no idea who at the ARRL caused this:

but I am thankful they are busy helping!

THis sort of action can only help reduce the RFI and make visible to the Amature community the FCC is doing something to help!
