[RFI] Noise...

You guys must all live in the boonies.  If I had such a thingie on my car driving around residential areas the cops would pull me over for something. It would even be worse at night.  They'd have the swat team surround my noise locator car.   

The noise hunt has become a hobby in itself.  

I just wish and hope someday the FCC will have the money and manpower to properly screen devices BEFORE they are allowed to be placed on shelves for consumers to consume.  As it is now we/I have to make a complaint about my neighbors TV or dimmer so that <maybe> the government radio gendarmes can come out and tell them their TV is illegal and interfering with Mr. K9VUJ's ham hobby.  That will go over like a lead balloon.
