Hi Mike,

I miss the old days!  I got my first job in Electronics because I had a 
ham ticket.  It convinced the CE I could get a 1st Phone, and he was 
right.  As you said, it no longer matters...  Alas, that was 50 years ago...

I can only hope the ARRL's efforts are in fact being perceived as a 
"canary in the coal mine" to the electronics industry, in a way that 
actually gets things fixed, although, I fear they are not being 
perceived that way most industries...

Unfortunately, until "Deadliest Catch", and its ilk are hosed by EMI, 
this won't be an issue...
