VK9LX - Lord Howe Island
While not that rare, and relatively easy to access from the Mainland, it
was nice to hear Nick VK1AA coming through on 40m SSB this morning
(10/07/2016) at *1030z*.

There is an element of *waiting for our time * following the greyline, as
the East Coast and VE3s were getting through right away. It took a few
calls to get through, once he heard my call. I suspect Nick will get
louder as it gets closer to sunrise. It's still a bit early in the season
to work the "juicy" South Pacific DX.

Oceania (South Pacific) is a nice "shot" for us as our signals don't have
to travel over-the-Pole to make the contact.

Who else has had success or enjoys working early morning low band DX?
