After my first five QSOs just happened to be new sections each, I started trying for 84 in 84. That lasted till about the 66th section, when I messed up and worked a second WPA instead of an EPA. Arggh!

With that goal blown, I got up on Sunday and decided to be fresh meat, which led to some good runs. When I started getting close, I went back to mult hunting. Todd and I pulled one out of the noise for my SK, and a bit later, Tom did great work giving me ONN. I called him fully expecting him not to hear me. By the end of Saturday, some of the really hard ones (AK, NT, SD, VI, PR) were in the log. At 81, I was missing ND, SK and SDG. Huge pileup on SDG, and despite the KN6 call, this guy wasn’t playing like a Novice. He was doing a great job. I beat Harm to that one (sorry, Harm… kinda).

Was much easier working VE4 from the city station… but I really missed the country quiet on 75.
