I strongly suspect that the only thing that is the case, throughout the
world, among ham radio contesters, is "the ability to bend the rules,
without breaking them"? It may be impossible to define each and every
possible scenario within the rules?

Case in point:  "CLASSIFICATIONS: (A) SINGLE - OPERATOR (One transmitter)"

IMHO, most contest's have far too many rules, which leads to far too many
interpretations of the far too many rules?
Contest sponsors presume that each and every participant will operate within
the "spirit of the rules", not re-define the rules to suit their own
operating style?

K4WW operating style = Operate, as much as I care to, have fun. Make as many
contacts, as possible, during that time, have fun.
Did I mention, "have fun"?
