Like most on this list I knew Larry only by the many contest Qs in my log and
his posts to the list.

I read with great interest about his battle with chronic lymphatic leukemia.  I
have nothing but respect for the dignity, optimism and frankness he showed 
in his many updates on his condition.  We can only hope that the rest of us
show such qualities when our time comes.  

My heart goes out to his family & friends at this time when they must deal
with their loss.  I will be making a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society in Larry's name.

I know that RTTY contesting was very important to Larry and that he was
always involved in generating support for NAQP teams.  If anyone knows
of a RTTY contest plaque needing a sponsor I would like to sponsor one
in Larry's name.

I will miss Larry's spirit and his enthusiasm.
