[RTTY] 746Pro and PK232

Hello to all
  Maybe someone out there can help me in this matter. Am I correct to think that in connecting my 746pro to my PK 232MBX, I only need to connect the ACC1 port to the PK232 and not the mic to it. Basically I am asking if I have to connect my mic also. I would hate to have to switch between my mic and 232. Can anyone help or aim me in the right direction. I am now using AFSK and want to move up to FSK.
