for the first time I noticed some deliberate QRM'ing of those RTTY
stations at the bottom end of the band, going in to the CW portion,
by both RTTY and CW:

"QSY QSY QSY K" in CW every 10 seconds for over an hour
however, from 'normal' and 'cw contest' times, it appears OK for CW
stations to work up into the the RTTY portion, and even the SSB
portion of 40m. Heard no problems though with US stations on RTTY
around 7.08MHz coming though in to the SSB portion of the band in
Europe.
