I have put a few audio-clips on line at http://f6irf.blogspot.com/ .
Those mp3 files, recorded during the ARRL roundup 2006, demonstrate how it is
possible to boost a slow LP running rate into something decent using SO2R, while
being "rule compliant" (1 signal on the air at any given time)...

To enjoy them, you need to open 2 instances of MMVARI or MMTTY(or one of each!)
and select stereo left-channel for one instance and stereo right-channel for the
second one...(*)

Think I did not manage too badly in this one. Let say that, more than ever
before, the propagation - and especialy the condx to States - seem to have given
a boost to the SW-EU stations.
My next challenge - being able to do the same in CW (a la CT1BOH ;-)

Please enjoy and Happy new year !
Patrick

Remarks:
- Why MM-product? because you need to separate stereo channel right and left,
and to my knowledge, those are the only "soft-term" doing this. You may use
another terminal, playing with the stereo-balance, but you'll miss most of the
fun.
- in MMTTY ou MMVARI: Option\setup\misc tab\source (left/right)
- You need XP or something allowing more than one app. to access the soundcard
(not 95 for instance).
- you need to select "stereo mix" in the recording mixer
- you don't need to install twice the soft - just click twice on the start-icon
(only drawback: the parameters will be saved only for the last closed session)
- The parameters are "standard" mark2125, shift170, speed 45.45, polarity
"normal". If you use MMVARI select RTTY-L and 2210Hz (center of TTY signal).
