If a ham finds himself in this situation, he has a decision to make.
Either accept the limitations or move. He should not try to finagle
contest rules to suit his own situation at the expense of others.

Six years ago, after a lifetime of living in the suburbs, I moved to
the desert where my nearest neighbor is a quarter mile away and I have
2.5 acres to play with.

I made my choice, what's yours?
