Hi Bill,

No! It was definitely a ploy to get me to move to that frequency and work
them.
It failed too, as I did not fall for that trick, but it was most annoying on
40m in the midst of a nice run.

This is not something I have noticed before, but will definitely keep an eye
on in future!

However, there were a few good spots for me, and I thank those of you who
did that! Don AA5AU spotted me just as I was about to give up CQ'ing and go
back to S&P. My rate went up nicely after that.
