A good part of the PSK problem is the use of the waterfall tuning
system. The PSK'ers open up their receivers as wide as possible and
then wonder why one loud RTTY signal wipes everything out.

It's really ironic if you think about it... PSK31 is one of the
narrowest modes hams use and yet most ops run their RX bandpass wide
open. How much more effective would PSK31 be if they used an
appropriate bandwidth? But they LOVE that waterfall.
