[RTTY] IC-756

I run an original IC-756 and have the FL-100 500 Hz filter. I can tell you that on contest weekends it is not tight enough. I would go for the 350 Hz at a minimum and maybe even the 250 Hz for RTTY. I do not care for the 250 Hz filters for CW so I will suffer with what I have. If I could afford a radio for just RTTY it would have one 350 Hz filter and one 250 Hz filter.

  Hello
Anybody in this group using an ICOM 756 for RTTY.Not a 756 PRO or PRO2 or PRO3...Onlt 756.
I would be interested to know what filters are recommended for rtty for the 9MHZ and 455KHZ IF's.
Also can we put two filters by If or one filter on each IF.....
  Will appreciate comments about this
  Thanks
  NOEL
