That reminds me when in the Signal corps stationed at camp Darby near  
Livorno, Italia "Leghorn" in 54-55 before becoming repair chief at the Xmitter  site 
I was an operator and we worked a rotating shift. 8 on 24 off 365 days year  
around, and when working the midnite shift the operators at the com center  
used the bell to wake us up, if we needed to QSY or any problems happen to  
arise.
