[RTTY] To the Reflector

Bill,

I know it was a tough decision and I applaud your facing the
issue head on. One thing is for sure .. you were trying your
best. No one can do better than that!

Years ago I also moderated a list and I was plagued by some
of the same issues as you were. The abuse heaped on myself
was nothing compared to the profanity and threats that I 
had to delete. It got out of hand and I stopped the list.
Years later I learned the offense was orchestrated by one
of my competitors who bragged about enlisting kids to flood 
my inbox with smut and my mailbox with adult magazines. It
was a discouraging time.

The RTTY reflector is a reflection of those who post here. 
Let those who post remember that others care about the
quality of what is here. I certainly care. 

We can all act with respect for each other. "Do not do unto
your neighbor what you desire your neighbor not to do unto you."
