The spotting prohibition applies to SINGLE OPERATOR entry Classification Only.
Entry Classification:
Single Operator:
One person performs all transmitting, receiving, spotting and logging functions as well as equipment and antenna adjustments.
Access to spotting information obtained directly or indirectly from any source other than the station operator, such as from other stations or automated tools, is prohibited.

A little history might be in order...
The CONTEST spotting network was setup in the early 1990's for CONTESTS.
t was enabled during CONTEST weekends to facilitate CONTESTING.
It later became apparent it might benefit others if the network was left
unning, all the time.
Fifteen years later someone creates a website that monitors this spotting
etwork. They choose the name DX WATCH.
If you don't want RTTY spots, I suggest you filter them on your end. The
AQP RTTY CONTEST is running this weekend and we are using the CONTEST
potting network for our activity.

to post NON DX contacts?
DX Watch is for DX, which is considered stations outside the North
American continent. NOT stateside, NOT Canada.
Perhaps you folks could start your own site: "The NON DX Watch"?
You have posted at least 5 NON DX stations in the last half hour.
Give the DX people a break, please.
