REPLY:

How do I know? Because until today with your post, every post commenting
in it has been in favor of removing 599 from the exchange. You are the
first to want to keep it, at least for RTTY contesting. Some folks
including me, have argued in favor of it for CW and SSb contests, but
not for RTTY. 

That's how I know.
