This is unnecessarily complex and limits the ability to use AFC when
running - particularly since the current public version of MMTTY allows
the user to choose *not* to reset to 45.45 baud simply by removing the
check mark from the "Fixes 45.45 baud" box in the Ham Default panel
on the Demodulator tab.
This capability was implemented nearly a year ago as a result of a
suggestion during beta testing for version 1.68.
