Hi Ron

Can you use the narrow filters in AFSK on your rig?

A lot of rigs, (like my TS-450) have to use the narrow filters for FSK in 
the CW mode.  They don't work in AFSK.  As long as  you can use your narrow 
filters (which I think the FT-1k does) you should be OK.  73
