[RTTY] JARTS RTTY

I don't know why RTTY is not allowed throughout the entire band.  From a bandwidth standpoint, SSTV and RTTY are distinctions without a difference.

Doesn't setting the carrier to a max of 3.597.7 with normal (2125/2295) tones keep your modulation products below 3.600?  Or do the JA hams need to keep their "carrier" frequency above 3.999?

>From my place on the right coast, working JA on 80m does not have a high probability of success this time of year.  At my latitude, I don't think we're both in darkness at any time of the day.

What is going to be the strategy for working the JARTS on 80?  It says the
JA RTTY frequencies are 3520 to 3530 and 3599 to 3612.  We won't be able to
work the upper end as that is too close to 3600.
Also see they can work 7100 to 7200 RTTY.

I've never worked down to 3520 RTTY on 80 before.  Seems like that will
ruffle a lot of feathers.  73
