This is a very good article that underlines several good points:
1.  Rate is king -- keep your eye on the rate meter.  Don't freak out about
brief dips, but don't ignore trends.
2.  If things slow down, "stir the pot" -- change bands, change from run to
S&P, etc.
3.  Be especially agile if you use low power and/or have limited antennas.
A good clear frequency is really important.
3.  Don't let a second (or third!) radio become a distraction.
That's all I know about contesting.  :-)  Congrats to AA5AU.

It's a little long in the tooth, but it's the first time a low power station
(using low antennas) has surpassed the 2000 QSO mark in
the ARRL RTTY Roundup. I hope others can learn from my experience.
