I use Clonezilla for Hard Drive imaging... It will create a bare metal
backup of your machine... Just put the image back, and your machine is
exactly as it was the day you took the image.

To download it. It is free, and Linux based... It iwll back up ANY
system, Apple, Windows, Linux. It runs on an x86 platform.
