[RTTY] Roundup observations - a bit long!

This contest gives little motivation to fight to work, say a JA on 40, when it counts no
more than working one of many loud stations from Texas.  Generally you work mults 
where they are easiest, and go for rate everywhere.   Still it's a lot better than sweepstakes
where you only get to work a station once.  At least RU never gets as slow as sweeps 
on Sunday.

Personally, I think the rules/awards don't give DX much incentive to get into this one nor do they give US stations muchincentive to work DX, particularly on 80 and 10. I usually can't do much in this contest due to its proximity to the holidays, but that's just me. This year was no exception.JohnNN1SS (ex K1FWE)
