[RTTY] Help with MMTTY/N1MM+

In addition to what Ed recommends, another area to check is within the
N1MM or N1MM+ program, the Digital Settings.

From the DI1 Setup menu, select Settings. In the upper left is the
"General Settings" panel with many checkboxes.

Verify that the "MMTTY - MMVARI Turn AFC On/Off on Run Change" is
unchecked. If this is checked, the program will automatically turn AFC
on or off, depending upon which mode the program is in (RUN or S&P). If
you are not aware of this setting, it can appear AFC has got a mind of
its own!

Likewise, you might want to have "MMTTY Send Ham Default on Run to S&P
Change" checked. This will reset your tones to the default values which
is helpful if you manually engage AFC and don't remember to disengage it
when you move off in S&P mode.

While you are in this Setting area, review the other options. You may
find some of them to be an advantage during contesting.
