The answering station - in the example N7AT - should be using CR/LF
at the start of his call. Without CR/LF the response can and often
is buried in in noise at the end of the line and can be missed by
both operators not using "known calls" lists or by those using such
assistance if the calling station's call is not included in the lists.
Including the CR/LF places the calling station at the left margin of
the receive display where it the call sign in easily to see (and
click) free of any clutter.
