Hi Mike,
If you are CQing the report would be better as:
<hiscall> RST SEQ SEQ
You don't need to waste time sending your call again .. he knows it already.
Then when you have his report:
TU DE <my call> QRZ
Again you don't need to send his call again, unless you have corrected it.
N1MM will automatically send the corrected call before that macro if it has
been changed.
No reason to be snotty though .. most of us welcome the points, even if a
bit of time is wasted!

Subject: [RTTY] n00b help: WAE exchange

hi diddlers, I've gotten a couple of snotty responses about my WAE exchange
not being correct. Being a newb, I just use the macros from N1MM.

I use:

CQ

<hiscall> RST SEQ SEQ <mycall><mycall>

<hiscall> TU DE <my call>

Am I missing something?

thanks and 73!

K5ROE Mike
