This is the Nano I use because it comes with the header pins separate.  I
don't use the headers, instead soldering the resistor/transistor pairs
directly in the pin holes on the Nano PCB.

I haven't found the ideal dongle-case, but am currently working at adapting
this one:

Could you or anyone please elaborate on exactly which Nano board they used?
The one I picked up has no space to construct anything other than dangling
things off of the (long) pins provided. I'd like to be sturdier about this
