Hi Jonh,

If i inderstand your question correctly, it refers to CAT control of the
rig.

The TS-590 can be controllled from the serial port(db9) and the virtual com
port from the USB interface.  Both interfaces can be used simultaneously.
For example I use N1MM+ and the Kenwood ARCP-590 to change settings on the
rig.  My radio is a TS-590S.  It should the same for the 590SG.

I'm pretty sure you could do the same with N1MM+ and SDRPlay that way.
