[SCCC] VY1JA Off the Air

Hi Guys,

         I just received this info from Jay VY1JA about the
sad condx of his current station. I was hoping he'd be on
for WPX CW this weekend but got this response.
         Would anyone be interested in pitching in to get
Jay a replacement transformer for his AL-80A.
I am getting ready to leave town in a day so would not
have time to contact Ameritron ( MFJ now ?)
and get a price so if someone that will be around for next
few days wants to head this effort up, let me know.
         Put me down for the contribution on the transformer
of course.

         Please note that Jay has new e-mail address and
it has been corrected today as his reply address in previous
mail was incorrect.
