Started the contest without checking the verticalafter all the high winds here near San Diego this week. The GAP had GAPS! SWR on10 only 4:1, ramping up to WOW:1 on 80 meters. Took a 1.5 hr break, took theantenna down, found all the parts around the yard and put everything backtogether. SWR back to normal all bands...10 meters no too hot but 80 was great..Great fun.
