Tony,

It is perfectly fine to operate a contest at one station (say you are
helping
with a multi-operator effort at one station), and then go home to your
personal station and operate using a different callsign (your personal
call K1USC in this case). You could even submit a contest entry from
your personal station after helping at the multi-operator station (this is
how the Northern California Contest Club is winning the club competition
in Sweepstakes). What may be a little murky (and in fact it may
be explicity not allowed in some contests, I am just not sure) is for you
to operate as part of a multioperator team, and then go home and give
that multioperator station a contact from your personal station and only
work the multioperator station and nobody else. You'll have to look at
the fine print of the contest rules to make that determination (perhaps
others more knowledgeable about contest rules will chime in here), but
surely there is no problem if you want to go home and work other people
from your home station with your own callsign.
