Remember it only works with 110 volt stuff. I would have loved to have had
one during one of my trips to the Philippines. I rented a beach cottage and
put up a R-7 vertical on a 25 ft pole braced to the building. The owner
wanted to know what I was doing and I showed him my little TS-50 transceiver
I would be using in the CQWWDX. He charged me an electric surcharge for my
transmitter. Didn't make a lot of sense considering there were two window
air conditioners running 24/7 while I was there.
