Remember it only works with 110 volt stuff. I would have loved to have
had one during one of my trips to the Philippines. I rented a beach
cottage and put up a R-7 vertical on a 25 ft pole braced to the
building. The owner wanted to know what I was doing and I showed him my
little TS-50 transceiver I would be using in the CQWWDX. He charged me
an electric surcharge for my transmitter. Didn't make a lot of sense
considering there were two window air conditioners running 24/7 while I
was there.
