Tim,

You just have to get used to it. Imagine all the lost time sending SDGO over 
and over on CW as compared to SDIE.

I will admit that I was a little curious about the effect these new 
abbreviations would have but now, on the other side of the contest weekend, 
I will tell you that it had zero affect for me.  The only request for 
repeats that I got were during QSB conditions.  I got more requests for 
repeats of QSO number than county by far!

I think people are making way too much out of this change.

And hey, a fast call sign is  PLUS!  :)
